Scenes from the pageant include: dignitaries ascend to viewing platform; participants before the event in historical costume; young ballerinas lead procession of men dressed as Roman soldiers; men and women dressed as ancient Britons; re-enactment of the signing of Magna Carta, horseman holds the document aloft after signing.
