Scenes at a Point-to-Point meeting held near Kimble.

One of two black and white films recording events connected with the Old Berkeley Hunt and the hunting season in Buckinghamshire. The film includes shots of crowds in front of the bookies stands; a bagpipe marching band providing entertainment before the racing; a horse in the paddock; saddling up; runners heading towards the start; horses under starter’s orders and the start of one race as the field races to the first fence; horses jumping a variety of fences including a water jump; horses passing the post; unsaddling; jockeys weighing in and horses being rubbed down after a race. The film concludes with a shot of a car being pushed from the mud in front of the bookies stands. Shots of the bookies stands clearly identify the stands of K[?] Buckle; Charlie Ball, Reading; Alf Eighteen [?]; Ben Hailes; including possibly a shot of Alf Leach [?], under the sign Alf Leach Thame, Oxon, Turf Commission Agent.
