Amateur film based on the Edgar Allan Poe story produced with high quality technical resources.

Adapted from the story by Edgar Allan Poe. A young man, in the service of an elderly gentleman, resolves to kill the latter as he feels intimidated by his 'evil eye'. The deed completed, when a policeman calls, the still-beating heart in the body hidden beneath the floorboards prompts him to admit his guilt. Voice-over narration follows Poe's text. Simple and highly stylised props and plain cyclorama backgrounds ideally suit the over-emphatic acting style.
