Poetic Impression

1991

Visual interpretation of a poem with animated images.

Fluidly animated images set to a poem. Bulgarian amateur animated film with voice-over in English. Transcription of poem: Let your hair fall loose and plunge it into the purple of dawn, wear the golden garments of day, take a breath from the strength of sea, let the dew fondle your bare feet, let it weave a violet garland round your ankles, fly off to south along with the wind, turn into a rosy cloud, turn into white and grey, unburden your soul in drops of song over the fragrant earth, be a wif [sic] be you, be sun and wind, be sea and pour out in rain, be everything in this world.
