The history of Australia through its pioneers.
Documentary. Reconstructed episodes in the lives of Australia's pioneers - Captain Cook, Captain Arthur Phillip, Captain John Macarthur, William Charles Wentworth. Begins with a re-enactment of the landings (Cook and Phillip) and then portrayals of early governors of New South Wales and explorers. After World War I there are scenes of industry and agriculture, city street scenes and sporting events.
