An animated history of how time has been kept through the ages.

Through humorous animation, this film illustrates the development of clocks and watches from the mechanical to the electronic.It starts with the ancients substituting the lunar for the solar year, moving through the use of water, sand and candles, to the wind-up intermittent and quartz oscillation.
