From Laurence, Scott & Electromotors to Ransomes’ Riverside Works, The Sole Bay Brewery to Horstead Mill, these films document the many traditions of making that have shaped life in East Anglia and the transformations these industries have undergone.
In a special presentation marking the centenary of 16mm filmmaking, these films will be projected using celluloid film prints.
This event takes place at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery, and is part of the public programme exploring the exhibition Norwich Works: The Industrial Photography of Walter and Rita Nurnberg .

About the Norwich Works exhibition
Norwich Works: The Industrial Photography of Walter & Rita Nurnberg runs until Sunday 14 April 2024 at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery. The exhibition is a partnership between Norfolk Museums Service, The University of East Anglia, Norfolk Record Office and The East Anglian Film Archive.
