getting here

The Archive Centre is on the County Hall site, close to the A47 Norwich southern bypass.
It’s about one mile from the railway station and city centre bus station. Look for the Jaguar aircraft on a plinth which sits opposite County Hall – its nose points to the entrance to The Archive Centre.

Bus services

Traveline has the latest bus and travel information, including a journey planner. Visit the Norfolk County Council website for information about individual bus operators, as well as park and ride.

Parking

Free parking is available at County Hall for Archive Centre users. All visitors must report to the security kiosk at the car park entrance to obtain a visitor’s parking pass.

Walking and cycling

There is a foot and cycle path from Bracondale into the County Hall grounds. It leads through Conesford Drive and The Loaning and is signposted to County Hall and Lakenham Way. There is also a gate off the Martineau Lane roundabout which leads directly into the County Hall car park. There are cycle racks onsite.
