From the extensive redevelopment of Anglia Square in the 1970s, through to construction of the Postwick viaduct in the 1990s, the films show a crucial time in Norwich’s history, when the industries that helped shape city life began to decline, and a new millennium approached.
This event takes place at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery, and is part of the public programme exploring the exhibition Norwich Works: The Industrial Photography of Walter and Rita Nurnberg .

About the Norwich Works exhibition
Norwich Works: The Industrial Photography of Walter & Rita Nurnberg runs until Sunday 14 April 2024 at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery. The exhibition is a partnership between Norfolk Museums Service, The University of East Anglia, Norfolk Record Office and The East Anglian Film Archive.
