A dramatised amateur film about the apparent anti-social behaviour of young people and the failings of the educational system.

The opening scenes show young men in the street and riding scooters. They meet up and visit a coffee bar. The proprietor attempts to prevent them from entering but they push in. Inside they smoke and pile up cups. There are scenes of the main street in Newmarket showing the clock tower and the Rutland Arms Hotel. A couple arrive at the coffee bar on a moped. There are interior scenes of the coffee bar showing a jukebox. A youth is playing a guitar. One of the original group tries to 'chat up' the girl but she slaps his face. During further scenes in the coffee bar the young men become slightly rowdier. The couple leave the cafe. One of the group takes a knife from his sock and stabs something on the table. They leave the coffee bar and follow the couple home through the streets. The man kisses his girlfriend goodnight on the doorstep and turns to walk home. He is followed by the group who beat him up.
