Short amateur comedy directed by Sarah Daly telling the story of a family trip to the Cotswold countryside over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The Stephens family prepare for a trip to a Long Barrow site near Pegglesworth in the Cotswolds over the Bank Holiday weekend. Packing their car in the morning, father Richard barks orders at his wife Anne and children Philip and Elizabeth, who are less than enthusiastic about the trip. Once on their way, the family sing songs and gradually work through the picnic supplies, while Richard struggles to navigate the country roads. Richard becomes increasingly agitated by his family, spanking his son over the bonnet of the car after being sick on the backseat. Reaching the Long Barrow site, the children are unimpressed by their father’s enthusiasm for what Elizabeth describes as ‘a little green hill.’ Richard’s efforts to educate his children about the burial mound are ignored as Anne calls the family over to join the picnic. Richard’s attempts to record his family on a cine camera are ruined by the silly faces pulled by Phillip. When her father falls asleep, Elizabeth begins to play with the camera, unthreading the film from its reel in the process. On their journey home, the family stops for a rest in a nearby field. Elizabeth is sent to deal with the arguing children as Richard relaxes in his chair. After reconciling their differences, the family once again head for home only to find that the car won’t start.
